Lash Lift process
Consultation
Together we discuss your needs to ensure suitability for a lash lift.
Prep
Next, we clean your eyelashes and do some under eye preparation to get you ready for treatment.
Treatment start
Using water removable adhesive, we place the curling pads onto your eye lid and gently attach your lashes, ensuring they are all straight and in the correct position for perming.
Lotion
We now apply the perming lotion for the time appropriate to your lash density.
Set
Once the perming lotion has had long enough, we will remove it and apply a setting lotion.
Tint
Once your lashes are set, we will remove the setting lotion and apply a tint to your lashes.
Finished
Lastly, we remove the tint and apply a moisturising lotion to your perfectly lifted lashes. You’re good to go and we will provide aftercare instructions to keep your lashes looking their best for longer.
Preparing and caring for your Lash Lift
Precare
Before you can safely have your Lash Lift treatment, there are some guidelines you must follow.
- Come with a clean face and refrain from wearing eye makeup
- If you wear mascara on the regular, specifically waterproof mascara, it’s recommended to stop use for at least 3 days prior to your appointment
- No previous lvl in last 6 weeks
- Lashes should be un-tinted preferably
Aftercare
We would advise you follow the below guidance once your treatment is complete
- Keep your lashes dry for 24 hours
- Avoid steam or excessive sweating for 24 hours
- To keep results at their optimum, limit oil based products, sunbeds or regenerative products

Is there any downtime?
The perming solution needs to remain dry for 24 hours for the ingredients to properly set.
Does it damage my lashes?
As with any chemical treatment, if it is allowed to over develop, it can damage the hair follicle and dry out the hair shaft. I always recommend the in house, posy moisture balm to ensure the brows stay hydrated and nourished.
How long is it between treatments?
I always recommend a minimum of 6 weeks between treatments to allow the hair to remain healthy.
